    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    For a female, I have wide feet and have trouble getting women's casual loafers, slides, or clogs in wide widths. Therefore, I occasionally buy men's 7D side (equivalent to women's 8W or 8-1/2W). These shoes were too stiff, very heavy, and no vertical room for my toes (wide enough, yes, but the tops pressed down on my toes).
