“I have had shoes with plastic toe cups before (Dr. Martins) and can say from experience that they restrict toe room and are inflexible. Further, they cause your socks to develop holes on top of your toes. I returned these as a result of the toe cups and will never knowingly buy a pair of shoes that have toe cups built in.”
