    Chafes at the instep. Smooth padded leather would have been preferable at moving points of contact with the wearer's skin when walking. Otherwise a comfortable, good looking shoe.

    From the first time I put these on my feet, they were comfortable. Usually a sandal with leather across the top of the foot takes some time, and a few blisters, to break in. Not these!
