I found the shoe very well made. The insert for the instep was a nice add-on.

Well made, good leather, comfortable.

My husband liked the first pair so much we ordered this second pair right away! They are exactly what he was looking for.

These shoes have a rough-and-tumble look coming out of the box, but if the "distressed" look is not for you, it is easily remedied. I used some non-silicone leather conditioner and they look brand new again. Still, they do need a little touch-up now and then, as they tend to scuff easily. Aside from that, the shoe is well-constructed and very comfortable. The thick and meaty soles are showing minimal wear after much walking and are likely to last as long as the uppers. I also bought the Rogue Prescott that Sierra sells, and together, they make a nicely matched oxford and chukka boot.

The brown "Peanut" stain comes off immediately. Even after polishing, with normal wear, they appear in need of a polish. While the construction -- so far -- appears good, this appearance problem makes for an inferior product.

Great for knock around and casual wear. The 2 different arch support into sole inserts allow one to customize to your foot for great all day comfort - a first that I've ever come across in any shoe.
