    These shoes could be classified as orthopedic in their superlative construction. After tearing my plantar fasciitis on my right foot, the inner arch support and foot stabilizing construction of a shoe is critical for comfort and avoiding a future re-injury. Plus they are very light weight . I have cute feet and the subtle feminine profile and design compliments my "feet beauty". Simple, strong, subtle, but substanstial.

    These fit in length but the straps were a bit too snug and started to pinch after worn for five minutes. Also, they did not feel very secure and would be uncomfortable for any length of time walking. Sent them back.
