    I first purchased this style for a trip to the UK, knowing I would be standing in line at customs, standing for 3 hours in the pit at Shakespeare's Globe and doing a lot of walking. They were excellent for getting around in London, on stairs up and down from tube stations as well as the Tower of London, and they didn't show wear the way a sneaker might. In short, these are a perfect shoe for travel.
