Tumbled, top-grain leather upper offers a broken-in feel for unbelievable comfort straight out of the box. Exposed leather seams fit top and bottom of shoe together for an agreeably rugged look. Rubber lug pattern outsole has a hobnail tread to maximize wear and traction while providing give with each step.

    These aren't the sleekest shoes I've ever seen, and women aren't falling at my feet now nor are hipsters gasping at my utter coolness. But I work on my feet all day teaching (busy college professor) and these shoe rock hard. They are cooshy but still feel very strong and stable. They really surprised me.

    Very comfortable when standing for long periods of time. My only problem is they are very sloppy almost clog-like when walking alot. But very comfortable and will buy another pair with laces for tightening purposes.
