A superb sock

Rohner socks have proven superb for demanding hikes on England's moorlands. However, some of their socks are short, not much above the ankle, and I prefer a sock that goes to or above the calf (and stays there). This Rohner design works in all respects. Although the fabric may feel 'thin' compared to some socks, it cushions well and does not create friction on those blister-prone areas of one's feet. A color choice would be welcome for those with sartorial concerns!

I got a pair of these a few months ago and really like them so got a few more. I have been primarily wearing them to work in - I work outside a lot in all sorts of different terrains and temperatures. I have never felt an uncomfortable spot on them; no bunching or folding. I was worried they would be too thick for the summer heat but they are not at all. I need the cushion they provide and my feet have never felt uncomfortable in them. I love these socks! I wear a 7.5 and the S or M work both fit well. Highly recommend for on-your-feet people.
