    Years ago I liked cotton tennis socks and these looked good so I tried them. The M size was a little too big in both diameter and length of the foot for my women's 8 1/2 M foot. I did wear them once and hope they shrink some. Trying these convinced me that I really do prefer wool socks.

    I ordered the medium for my 71/2 to 8 (women) feet but hubby (size 10 1/2) is wearing as they are much too big for me. Order down a size. I love the other Rohner Socks I have and have had success with Men's size XS but these are unisex.

    I like white socks, but the mercerized cotton I have been wearing hardens and then the skin on my feet splits. I have small feet and the small size is just right. The socks are warm without being hot.
