Rohner Trekking Hiking Socks (For Men and Women)

The only bad thing I could say about these Rohner socks is that STP doesn't have them in a mens' 10 right now!!. I never thought I would wear wool socks to work in the warmer months, but I started when I didn't have any clean cotton socks one day. Much to my surprise, they actually feel more breathable and wick away moisture better than cotton does!! The dense wool bottoms provide a lot of cushion for those 12-14 hour shifts, and I honestly can't believe how good my feet still feel at the end of the day. PLEASE STP, keep your good relations with Rohner, and get us more of these wonderful socks!!

Wonderful socks,the most comfortable ever. I've been wearing them for more than a decade. Over time, with machine wash and dry, the wool under foot thickens and felts, making them even warmer. Only reason I didn't rate them as perfect is that in recent years the fiber feels different, less wooly and a bit flimsier. Still good, just not as good. And I would be so happy if they'd bring back the knee length. Had to resort to cutting the high tops from worn out bottoms to pull over shorter socks, for the coldest days.

These were a little taller than I expected but all in all, they are great socks.

These socks kept my feet dry and warm for over a day straight. Even after I took them off, dipped my feet in icy cold water and put them back on before drying my feet completely, my feet were once again dry and warm, within minutes. I could have kept these socks on for days if I had to. I plan on buying more. If you run into problems with clammy feet, these are the socks for you.

Didn't realize they were men's but, they still fit alright...and wondered why they are packaged inside out and I feel the packaging is rather elaborate and could be more enviornmentally friendly without all the cardboard, all in all I love Rohner socks......

Life is too short to not have good socks

I have been buying these socks for myself, my husband and son for over 10 years from Sierra Trading Post. I have to say I feel like I have become abit "obsessive" about wearing only THIS brand of sock! We are an active family, I am in Search & Rescue & my son is in Scouts, however, I am a professional career woman who will even wear these socks under my business suits with 3in heels on...yep, I order heels 1/2 size up to accomodate for the socks (grin)! As you can read I can't imagine anything else on my feet. You should try them!

This is the second pair of Rohner socks I have purchased. They are extremely soft and comfortable and the cushioned feet make for a supportive hiking sock. The superb quality and design far surpass every other hiking sock I have tried. Buy them!

Wear them trail running,snowshoeing. They just snuggle your feet,keeping them warm and supported. I have hiked/run several miles in these with wet feet in 30 degree temperatures and my feet did stay warm. Just as great in the warm temps.also. I have four pairs!

These socks are real nice-good quality. On the thicker side.
