feels like the top is too thin. this is a comfortable feature for heat regulation in heavy activity, but in heavy activity things tend to break down faster.time will tell.

I wear these every day to work. I work in a grocery store and am close to the door and my feet get cold but these socks keep them warm. Am also close to Lake Michigan.

Rohner socks are the best; and these are Rohner socks. They stay up, they wick moisture, they are not bulky. I've tried others and always go back to Rohner.

Despite the product description, these socks are made of "new wool", not merino wool. But I like wool socks, and these are some of the best I've used. They keep my feet dry and comfortable without being too thick or heavy. And the "loops" underfoot provide good cushioning for such a lightweight sock.

very comfortable and cooler than they look (they have a cushioned bottom). As comfortable as Smartwool; can wear in summer and year around. Good for hiking (of coursee), but also for daily wear.

I have many pairs of Rohner's Trekker and Light Trekker socks, which I love because they're made with Merino wool—always soft and comfortable. However, these particular Trekkers contain "new wool," not Merino. I am returning them and suggest that the description be changed to reflect the actual material used.
