Beautiful but not as comfy as other RomikasReviewed by mountaingirl from Lake Arrowhead, CA on Friday, March 20, 2015I have a pair of Romika ankle boots that are butter soft and super comfy so I thought that these shoes would have a similar fit and comfort level, however I personally find the patent leather toe cap, which extends on the outside of the shoe much farther than on the inside, is stitched exactly where it rubs my little toe relentlessly, giving me blisters, and I do not have overly wide feet. I thought they might break in more with wear, but with three layers plus stitching over the little toe (the interior lining, body of the shoe and toe cap) I have been unable to get them to budge after many days of wearing them and trying to spot stretch them, so I guess I will sadly have to reserve them more for short-term wear. I had purchased them hoping to use for long days on my feet with lots of walking and I don't think they'll ever make that cut. Dissapointing, because they are stylish and well constructed and my experience with other Romikas has been great.

Happy FeetVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jan"s Clothes from New York State on Wednesday, March 11, 2015Simply put, these shoes are exactly as pictured in terms of color and proportions - at least on my computer screen - and after trying several other brands that I had to return, these fit me and were comfortable at first slipping into them. I can count on a few brands to fit me well. However, it is not foolproof, as those I had to return were brands I have been able to wear in other styles. Anyway, what is important is that I have a feet with a narrow heel yet are broader than average across the toe area due to bunions. I was doubtful when I first opened the box because they did not appear to have an adequate toe-box for me. But I was pleasantly surprised to find they did. I do generally wear socks in cool weather. But if not wearing socks, I can often adjust by using a medium insert. I purchased the brownish color and they will go well with many outfits that are not necessarily brown toned. I love the shimmery strap like piece - gives them a bit of a cache. I wear a 6.5 or 37 euro shoe so these are true to size.

Generally true to size but a little wide in the heel - no surprise because I have previously worn shoes from this company. Therefore I choose the following designs: (1) lace-up or (2) high instep coverage with high back.
Other plusses: wide toe box ... even with narrow feet, width in front is necessary
