I expected the shoes to be more comfortable, based on a pair of Romika sandals that I have and other Romika shoes I have tried on in the store. However, I found them to run small, they were tight on my forefoot even with thin socks. The arch support was good, but there was not much cushioning in the heel and forefoot. I was shopping for some shoes to wear on a trip to NYC where we will be doing a lot of walking, but I don't think these have enough cushioning to stand up to a day of city sidewalks. I wear a 40 in Birkenstock, Siebel, Naturalista, and my Romika slides, but these shoes in a 40 were too small. The shoes were cute, though, and I might have considered them in a larger size if the cushioning were better. I would recommend these if you are not going to be on your feet all day.

These will be my go-to spring/fall/winter shoes for everyday shopping, errands and work.
These shoes are supportive, soft and comfy right out of the the box.
My feet don't like many shoes but they love these.
