    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This shoe fits so close you might have room for hosiery but certainly not even a thin sock. Felt like the correct size but the upper really hugs your foot. Otherwise a good looking shoe. Returning due to close fit with zero wiggle room. Ordered European size recommended for my regular US size.
