They are nice, attractive, fashionable, and pretty much a good deal. However, I have found the sole insert to be uncomfortable, and I am not able to wear these shoes for a very extended period of time before they bother my feet. I have read other comments that the insert is rough, and I now agree that it does affect my general sentiment about the shoe's performance.

Nice heel, a little taller than your average Merrell slide, so easier to dress up. They took some breaking in. The insert is not totally snug inside the shoe. At first they hurt my foot a little bit, and the footbed is a little rough. But I wore these with a pair of socks for several hours and it gave me the extra room I needed for a good fit. The shoes are made in Hungary, real leather.

2 inch lift seems to be the maximum I can handle.
Also, I did not like the feel of the back lip rubbing against mt heel.

I know it just needed to be glued back but decided to send them back.
They were true to size but I have a problem with one of my feet and did not feel there was enough cushion to wear all day. -

I generally wear a size 8 1/2 M and ordered these in a size 39 (8-8 1/2). They felt like a perfect size 8. Returned.

Extremely comfortable, true to size, easy to walk in and I even like the lip on the back of the heel. The look is rich and stylish: love the metal studs. I wear a 7 1/2 med. and they fit perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

They met every expectation; they are soft and comfy and good-looking. The only drawback is that little lip on the back of the shoe, which almost made me decide to return them. The shoe is about 1/8" too short in length for me, so my foot ends up on top of that lip (rather than inside it, where it belongs) unless I'm really careful. A larger shoe size would definitely be too big. However as I wear the shoes, they do seem to be stretching just a bit, so I don't expect it to bother me much longer.
