Shoes are light and very comfortable

Some of my most comfortable shes are Romikas (in fact, I'm wearing a pair as I write this). Unfortunately, this particular shoe is not one of them. They're well-made, the style is interesting and cute, and they look as if they'd wear well. The length was true to size. But the front of the shoe tapers WAY too much for the average foot, so when I put them on they made my toes feel squashed. This isn't something that could be compensated for by buying a larger size; it's inherent to the style. So I regretfully returned them. This style MIGHT work for someone with different-shaped feet than mine, but it certainly didn't work for me.

I liked these shoes right out of the box. They were soft, comfortable, not stiff and I didn't need to "wear them in" around the house. I was quite pleased that the arch support was built in. I think they look great with casual or dress slacks and jeans, but I don't think I like them with dresses. I'll definitely keep Romika on my short list for shoe brands.
