Since I live in Florida I can wear sandles year round and I've been looking for a good pair of red open toed shoes . These shoes are more pink than red. I returned them.

Narrow footbed makes for not so much arch supportReviewed by Dawnie from Connecticut on Tuesday, July 21, 2015I have falling arches and all the problems that go with them, so I NEED decent arch support. These had some, but my normal width foot was a bit wider than the footbed, resulting in the little support these shoes have not being enough. I think they are cute and would have loved to keep them, but alas I have to have the support.
I say overall, they run a bit narrow. -

Also, a couple of issues. One is that the color is somewhat mottled, making the leather look like the color is not evenly distributed (I ordered the pinkish red color). The elastic at the heal provides adjustability but prevents the leather flap from lying down smoothly. Last, the Velcro closure on the pink sandals was bright red. Again, provides for adjustability but the bright red was jarring and made the sandal look cheap. It was very difficult to position it so that it was not visible.

I tried these on and was amazed at the comfort. The heel, sole and suede make everything slip resistant and the cushion foot bed is amazing. A couple steps and I honestly felt like bouncing and it has the right elegant look for gowns or trousers. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and I'm sure my mom will be just as pleased.

I have high arches, so I needed to add a little extra support, but otherwise they're perfect. I did notice a little rub on my pinky toe by the end of the day, but otherwise they've worked out great. That's saying a lot; my feet are rarely happy.

I really wanted them to work, but the 38 was just a smidge to short in the toe, and the 39 was huge in the straps (my foot would come right out when I walked) -- I usually wear a size 8. Too bad.
