It wasn't clear (I must have overlooked it) that they are velcro-closure, and with each step, the shoes loosen up to the point that I'd have to stop walking, pull the strap as tight as possible, and re-fasten. I'm going to send them back.

Red is a fun color. Accepts orthotics and accommodates my grumpy bunion and hammertoe. All-in-all, pretty comfortable. I should enjoy wearing them.
