    Excellent quality, butter soft leather. Fine craftsmanship. Contrary to the STP description, the European size 36 really does correspond to US 6. Too bad these shoes are too big for me.

    I work in a lab and closed toe shoes are required. It is hard to find nice looking comfortable shoes that cover your whole foot. These shoes fit the bill, I especially like the arch support because I stand for hours on my job and have a high arch. The first time that I wore these shoes they were comfortable (no need to 'break in') and I was not tired at the end of the day. I love these shoes and will buy another pair again.

    I wore the shoes on a hiking trip in the Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park for two days. They are good looking with jeans or hiking pants, very light and comfortable in the woods, functioning like a neaker but more stylish. However the sizing is odd, too narrow yet too long; I have to buy pads in order to make them fit.

    I wore these shoes exclusively during a 17 day trip to Japan. I walked 8-10 miles each day in them. I had foot surgery 16 weeks prior to my trip and these shoes were exactly what I needed. I did not use orthotic insoles, but there is ample room for them if needed. I liked them so much I ordered another pair when I returned.
