Closeouts. Not just for cowgirls, Roper's Horseshoe low-top athletic shoes add a little comfort and cushion to your step for everyday wear and sport a 1-¼" heel for a quick transition from streetside to horseback.
Post Bunionectomy with poor result, so the lace up and full box of the shoe make this a very wearable shoe for me-Thank goodness for the comfort as well!

I don't know why others said to order a larger size than normal. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and the shoe is very much too large and wide also.

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought these for trail riding. They have a riding heel for safety (so my foot can't slip through the stirrup), but are constructed for walking too. Just the thing for me, because I want to get off my horse and walk the kinks out of my legs when we are out for a while. I haven't ridden with them yet, but I have worn them for a couple of three mile hikes with hills, and found them very comfortable - no pinches or hot spots. I have high-maintenance feet, too, so I am very pleased! Nice looking shoe as well.
I typically wear a 9 1/2 and my foot is on the wide side. I saw that others recommended going up a half size, so I bought a ten. It seems just right, with just a touch extra in the toe area. Very nice for me.
Note for the riders out there - I have half-chaps that I will wear with these for riding so my legs don't get pinched by the stirrup leathers.

Before placing order was a little unsure as to what size to order, having previously only worn ariats and justin ropers. However after referring to footwear sizing guide on this site, it made it easier to determine correct size.
