Roper Moleskin Jeans - Straight Leg (For Women)

I bought these for travel. I was unsure when I ordered because of the odd sizing for women, but I figured if they fit then I bought a great bargain. The length was very long, however, that is a given for a short person who doesn't specifically buy petite. I got them hemmed and I'm ready to go!

This is the third pair of these particular pants that I have purchased for work. I love the feel and the fit. I have noticed that the metal zipper is somewhat sticky at first, but this seems to resolve itself with time. Also, the material pills over time where it contacts other materials or surfaces. Overall, worth having a couple of pair on hand as a comfortable and attractive work outfit.

These pant are nice, but I guess I expected the material would be different. When I think of jeans, I think of pants made of sturdy, durable twill fabric...not as soft and thin as these. But they are slimming and they feel very comfortable. However, I'm 5'6" and the legs are a bit long on me, even with heels on. These pants go great with a simple dressy blouse (preferably light-colored to contrast the black) and heels. Not very casual looking to me, but not too formal either.

These were worn for a 4-H fair, for doing Showmanship. Never shown before and was told to buy sharp looking pants. These pants are big in the thighs and rearend they do not fit like a pair of Roper jeans.

I would not buy this product again

For less than $20 I can't complain at all. These pants are very comfortable and look great right out of the dyer. They fit looking tailored - no extra bagginess here! I usually take a size 6-8 in women's but need a size 3/4 in this pant which fits great. The material is very soft and holds the black color well. I have seen very little fade over months of constant use. Bravo!
