Roper Quilt-Lined Riding Jacket (For Women)

This jacket was a very good price and even though I wasn't looking for one I picked it up. I love it. It is very heavy (unlike my hiking clothes) but for outdoor work, around the barn and riding it is wonderful. Very well-made, it should last a long time, even with the hard use I give clothing. My only con would be that on long rides I like to wear a jacket that can be tied around the waist and this is pretty heavy and bulky for that. But for arena workouts and shorter trail rides it is very comfortable. Really nice item.

I purchased this to be my barn jacket, but can't bring myself to wear it to the barn yet as it is really attractive and comfortable. It's also very well made, so eventually it will make it's way to the barn.

This is a very casual jacket, but I love it. I am a city dweller, but love the color combination and I think it is great for a grab and go take care of errands coat for chilly days through the piedmont NC winters.

A great barn coat with a back flap for in the saddle use, but stylish enough to wear outside of the barn. Very warm but breathes well. I've been comfortable in temps rangine from 14 to 50 degrees F.

Warm comfortable jacket. Roomy enough to put layers under for really cold weather. (-20)

Just bought this for my wife as a replacement for a transitional coat. This is a sturdy coat that will require a little "breaking in." Good color, warmer than expected but not deep winter. (We live just outside of NYC. Pretty damp here.) Got the small even though it said Size 8-10. She's an 8 and it's a little loose. Also sleeves a tad long though she has slightly shorter arms. Overall, this coat is about casual comfort. It's good looking but it won't make you a fashion icon. Looks like it will last a few years. Very good buy.

Good quality and fit. I like the snap sides at the hips for ventilation and added comfort in the saddle, and the draw string waist band enables me to adjust the fit any time. Wish the quilted lining zipped out to enable me to use it earlier in the fall and later in to the spring.

Excellenct Jacket for working outside or just wearing during cold weather. I went by a couple of previous reviews and ordered one size up. That was probably a mistake. I wear a 12/14 and ordered the 16 because of bulky winter clothing. It is almost too large. I'm keeping it and am enjoying it so far.
