I love Western shirts and I got this one at a good price. You never know how they are going to fit. So I always order large, though in better shirts, I could get a medium. This particular Roper shirt has very long tails, which I don't like. It also has metallic thread running through it, which I don't like. But the sleeves are cool if you turn them up; a nice surprising fabric. And I love the color. I enjoy wearing it.

Good price, like Roper shirts, longer if you need to tuck in. Arms not too small

The color and fabric are great. The sizing is awful. I wear a size 12, but ordered the Large, which was supposedly 14-16. It was still too small!

The original western shirts from the 50's and 60's were heavier fabric, more work oriented than fashion statement. The fabric is very thin, and would not take a lot of use in the "field". I love the blue plaid! Wish it were also in red.
