“this is one of the cheapest made reels I have ever owned plastic clicker and cheap drag parts this reel has all the look and feel of a finely produced $5 [*] reel, spool is more out of round than most of my $10 fly reels,I own several Pflueger and Okuma fly reels that are much better built than this ross, you really need to try before you buy one of these things I purchased mine from a catalog no dealers near by, if I would have felt one in my hand I would not have bought this pile of trash, Ross makes some reel junk and this unit is living proof!!!! It is a legend that will last a lunch time...”
