    I have not been flyfishing for very long,so when I buy a new piece of euip.I do a lot or research. I purc, the Ross real; after this procces and have been very happy with it.I am very happy with the drag system,and the way the spools change.I would recomend this reel to any one.

    This reel is sturdy and will be used hard. The drag system isn't the smoothest, but it will perform fine for the value, especially when taking into consideration the extra spool that comes with it. I use this for fishing lakes and am not extremely concerned with a super smooth drag system. Overall, I am happy with the reel and the price.

    This is a well constructed highly functional real. The drag control, however, is very sensitive and easy to inadvertently change. I recommend checking the drag setting regularly while fishing, so you don't get surprised by a too loose to too tight drag when a fish hits.

    This is a spectacular reel and spool set. Definately purchase the set. This model is no longer manufactured and the spools are impossible to find. I'll most likely never need another reel, in this weight, for the rest of my life. Also, I purchased two. One for me, and one for my brother's birthday.
