Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I put some telemark bindings on this ski, and love how they ride. I haven't skied them much on any bulletproof kind of hardpack, but they seem to hold a good edge even in early morning spring conditions. I don't tele very fast, so I don't know how they hold up at higher speed. It is a bit softer than I would like for an AT ski (I suspect they may get chatter at speed), but I also never got sold on women specific skis because I prefer a stiffer ski when my heel is locked in. For upper intermediate telemarking, they are a good fun lightweight ski with good float.
