I've been using this ski in a 176cm length for two seasons, and it's my go-to ski for everything but the hardest boiler-plate New-England ice. I love the relatively tight sidecut radius compared to similar all-mountain skis of this width. I'm a big guy (210lbs) and I have found that if I edge hard on hard snow, the ski will start to skip across the snow and in the worst cases I'll go into a baseball slide. I suspect this is due in part to a lack of lateral stiffness in the connection between the bindings heal-piece and Rossignol's mounting rail, allowing my edge angle to decrease as I apply an increasing load to the ski. With the ski clamped to a bench and my boot locked in, I can flex the boot from side to side about 1" to 1.5".If you're lighter than me you may not have the same issue though. Other than this I love the ski, and I'll probably remove the binding and rail and mount a more traditional binding directly to the ski this summer.

I was apprehensive about buying skis without having the opportunity to demo them first, but for the price, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I just returned from a 3-day trial run over Christmas and I was amazed. Plenty of width for the powder we had up-top, with enough side cut to handle the bumps and even the ice down below. Even the chopped-up "mashed potato" snow was enjoyable on these skis. Solid all mountain performers. Included bindings are easy to mount and the skis are pre-tuned,ready to ski right out of the box.

Added these for a fatter underfoot ride. I also ski a 16 meter radius ski with 68mm waist which is quicker but hard work in fresh snow. The radius on these is 19 meter, not the 17M listed on the specs. I am 215#, ski hard, and patrol. These are better than my others for soft conditions and have a GS arc. Lean them over on edge and they will lock in and carve railroad tracks. Not bump skis but light enough to move through them easily. I am skiing these in a 184cm. Will hold stability at speed. All round mountain skis with good versatility. Excellent ski and value. Bought a pair, liked them, bought another for my 23 year old.

Great all-mountain ski. Handles well on groomers, moguls, and powder. Great edging ski even with 83cm width. Loved them when I demoed them in Vail and decided to buy with such a great price.

I have skied only several times on this ski but like it very much. I have been in 2 feet of powder with them and also just bombin' full tilt down the groomers. I think the best way to describe the way that they skied would be smooth. You do have to work them a little but they are just smooth. Great Ski
