“Bought these for my 8 yr old son who wears a boys 4/Women's 5 to start backcountry skiing & tele turns. They fit fine except for the zipper around the ankle is way too narrow & does not close. Definitely a defect in design but like another review said, the zipper does not have to close in order to use the boot-it's just a gaiter, the ankle strap closes fine so for the close out price especially for a child who will wear them 2 seasons at best you can't beat it! I would NOT pay full price however. We haven't actually skied w/them yet but he says they are comfortable on.”
