Verified Buyer Reviewed by Walks with dog from Boise, ID on Thursday, February 7, 2013As another buyer commented, you WILL have pain on the outside left ankle. There is a rigid piece of plastic on the inside of the left boot (only). Two miles into my first ski with these last week, I could no longer tolerate the annoyance and had to turn back. Day ruined. I would not buy these boots again. A bargain is not a bargain if you can't use it.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by bc skier from Central Idaho on Thursday, December 27, 2012I ordered two different sizes, 44 and 43. I almost always wear a 44, but it was HUGE with way too much material for my foot and no ability to tighten it adequately. The 43 fit my foot pretty well overall, though a bit wide in the heel. I had to return them because there was a weird ridge of plastic material buckled in that pressed painfully on the inner surface of my right ankle. There was no problem with the left boot, but there was this plastic ridge on the right ankle of 3 different pairs of size 43 my family had ordered, and none of us could wear them. Other than that, they seemed like decent boots for a bc boot burly enough to power some turns on moderate terrain, yet light enough for easily covering distance.

The widest part of the forefoot in a size 47 measures 4 1/8".
“HELP, What Rossignol Bindings will work with this set of XC boots? I have received them and like them very much!! I wanted to buy the boots first and be happy with them before I also ordered bindings and skis. Now I need to purchase compatible bindings and some Rossignol XC Skis.”
Unfortunately the Rossignol BC X-7 Backcountry Cross-Country Ski Boots do not come in 4E widths.
