I purchased this pack to have a day pack with sufficient attachment points for carrying snowshoes. The problem was that this pack is too small for my back. I'm 6'1" and the hipbelt wraps around my bellybutton, not my hips. If you are not much taller than 5'9" this looks to be a fine pack, although I must confess I've never carried it in because mine is being returned.

Great product for run-of-the-mill skinning up, even big enough for extended alpine touring excursions.

I am conducting graduate research out in the intertidal area and I use this pack to carry all of my extra gear down this steep cliff. I am a petite female so this pack is not really designed for me per se but it gets the job done. Lots of room and really good adjustable straps:)

Picked this up as extra daypack b/c of huge discounted price. Very pleased so far. Fit 2 thermos, shell jacket, vest, gloves, first aid, food for 2, and 2 32oz H2O bottles very comfortably and with room to spare. Is very adjustable and seems sturdy enough to manage a decent load for day hikes. Have no experience w/any pack by Rossignol so wouldn't want to weigh it down heavily, but looks to be great pack for lighter day hikes.
