I have small and rather narrow feet and ankles and was looking for boots that would fit snugly and offer a lot of ankle support, and that is exactly what they do. For reference, I normally wear a size 5 1/2 shoe and I bought a size 36. They are also warm, comfortble and offer good arch support for my foot. I could not have designed something that fit me as well as these do. That said, the outer shell is too tight at the top to zip all the way up and would dig into the back of my leg if I did. Fortunately,it isn't necessary to zip them to the top, so it does not seem to be an issue. I hope they will be durable. They appear to be well-made. So far I have only used them to ski on a lake with just a couple inches of slightly crunchy snow so I can't comment on which conditions they are best for, but I have skied for a total of several hours and not experienced any blisters or painful spots. If you have a wider foot or ankle I think they may be too narrow. All-in-all I got exactly what I was hoping for at a great price!
