I normally wear large but got XL because there were no larges. They are bit long and sort of baggy on the leg but ok with my 34-36" gut. really nice nordic ski pant. wind breaker in front and not in back. Out in 34 degree F with no other layers and was fine. Maybe these will be less loose on the leg when I add the under layer.

As previously reviewed, these pants run extremely small. Had to return size XL and reordered size 2XL. Just received the larger pair today - and again way too small. Had my grandson try them on and they looked great. He is 6 ft. tall and weighs 165 lbs and normally wears a size large. Like I said, a size 2XL fits a slender body perfectly. Sizing is way off on these pants.

Bought these snow pants for my husband in size XL. Although they are nice looking and made very well, they run extremely small. Usually a size XL on him allows for layering. He cannot even breathe in these. Reordered in size 2XL, but have not received yet. I honestly think the bigger size will be too small also. If you plan on purchasing a pair of these, order 2 sizes up from your normal size.

I plan on wearing these while cross country skiing but the snow han not arrived yet. The pants look and feel like a good quality item but the sizing is a little funny. I am 6 ft and about 185 and they are maybe a bit tight in the waist and thigh area for a size large. They claim to fit a 36 inch waist and do but there is none to much extra room there. The fabric does give so the leg and butt area should be o.k. They are form fitting for a ski pant and defenitely will fit tall and slender better than other body styles.
