My son and I looked at dozens of ski boots for him around $300 and in the end selected these. He has only used them once but thinks they are great. He had been skiing in a softer boot (90) and really notice improved response in the Rossignols (110). He felt they were easily as comfortable as the softer boots.

Quality and fit beat most similar Salomon boots. I have not yet tested performance on the hill, but would venture it will likely exceed in that category also. I was disappointed in Salomon's vesion of a similar boot, poor fit and flex, cold, and difficult to adjust. These seem much better.
