Reviewed by AJ from NJ on Sunday, May 12, 2013Runs small. I usually wear medium, my chest is 40'. Large is perfect and some space for layering. Very nice fabric, quality. I've not tried it on the slopes, but it looks very well.

The length is right and the adjustable velcro waist tabs allow for extra base layers on the cold days. The orange red color works with my royal blue shell jacket. I like the back pockets with snaps and the zippered front packets. The snap w/ elastic hem gaiters and snap with zip outer leg allows a good powder block. Even with extra layers, I had a free range of motion from sitting on the lift, kneeling to trim my boots and leaning into the tight turns.

It is warm enough that I can go fairly light on under layers except in the coldest conditions. The pockets go on and on. No clue how to use the ski pass holder, but my wife made me a custom holder that gets rave reviews, so guess I don't need that other one. The collar is larger than I would like (loose), but my wife also makes knitted neck gaiters that fill the gap and are more comfortable than the collar lining anyway. Have skied in the cold and during some snow, but not enough wet to really gauge the jacket's waterproofness.

Reviewed by Johnny from Boston on Friday, March 01, 2013I'm 5'11" 235lbs and wear a snug 38 waist pants size - XL is perfect. Rear pocket flaps are for show - no pockets in rear. So what - spend 3 times as much if you want a wallet pocket in rear, thigh cargo pocket is fine for wallet. Warm enough for no underwear into the teens but not bulky.
