This is a standard binding. Although it is able to be mounted on an NIS binding plate. The binding plate is what makes the binding adjustable. The binding plate that accompanies the binding does NOT allow more than one placement on the plate. i.e. no different than a screwed in binding.
We ran across this same issue buying skis at a local shop.
I would research this to determine if this meets your needs. The system seems to work appropriately and certainly makes it a no-brainer to install
when the plates come ready mounted on the ski. A ski shop's dream....no drilling, waiting, using up time in the shop.

The bindings are great quality, but the installation instructions lack direction where on the ski to install. Web search for instructions did not yield much help either, most point to finding a ski shop, which I'm sure is good advice, if you live near a shop. If you buy bindings for skis anticipate finding a professional for installation.

I read the review regarding the instructions, and the person is absolutely right. The box includes a nicely printed instruction sheet that is for a different pair of, adjustable, bindings. The binding plate requires two different sizes of screws, only one size is in the package and the shank diameter is to large for the either plate hole. The counter sink for the head is correct so i guess i will be reaming out the hole. I doubt that returning and requesting another set is going to fix the issue. Not to mention, we finally have snow on the ground.
