Rover Cozy New Zealand Merino Wool Dog Coat - Medium

I have a German short hair and the medium sized fit perfectly. Sizing was a big concern for me. He's about 60 lbs, so that should help the rest of you size.The coat seemed like a great idea. However, the first day I left it on my dog it was about 20 degrees out. Somehow, he managed to get the coat off himself and he chewed it to pieces. So, [$] down the drain !!

Have been looking for a good quality dog jacket for our aging pit bull who gets cold easily. Thought we found it with this one, but the chest is too tight. She can still wear it, but it is not as comfortable than if we would have gone with the large.

have only used it once so far. definitely worth its close-out [$] price. thicker than most dog coats. classic & not overly flamboyant like some doggie-gear. very functional. not yet sure how well it will wash or hold up.

This is a nice coat for the sale price. It is well-made and stays on nicely on my very active Australian Shepherd. The only thing, it's slightly too short for her length (she's average). But, still looks good and serves the purpose.

We bought this for our new dog, Honey, a boxer mix. She shivers when she comes in from her walks. She loves it so much that she pulls it off the hook where we keep it to snuggle with it. It's so soft. I wish I had a coat like this!

Probably the nicest coat my little guy will ever have! Beautifully (yet simply) made and although the medium is a smidge big on him (he weighs approx 30-35 pounds), it will take but an extra piece of velcro being sewn on to snug it up a bit. This is a small sacrifice for an otherwise VERY nice dog jacket which I probably wouldn't have purchased had it not been for the great deal I got on it! I would recommend to those considering that you measure your dog prior to purchase. My dog measures approx 19" from base of neck to base of tail and approx 25" girth. The velcro on the jacket is placed a little further back than the biggest part of his girth and since his body form is tucked (sort of like a hound), his rib cage trims down pretty quickly going from front to back. So this will necessitate the adjustment for him, but may not be required for a similarly sized dog who has a more consistent size through his torso. All in all a high quality item and a good value. Deals like this are why I have been a return customer to Sierra Trading Post for several years.

Excellent design and material. Soft, easy to put on, BUT runs large and velco connections leave comparatively little room for taking up the slack. Good for a square dog without extremes.

The coat I bought-Medium--is a bit roomy and slightly long for my dog but still works fine. My dog is about 27 lbs. I put it on her--she has never worn "clothes" before--and she didn't object at all! Haven't tested it outside yet. I love that it is so soft. Very easy to put on--velcro attachments. I bought because such a deal! Seems very nice quality. Hopefully my dog will love it when it's freezing out!

This is an exceptional item - excellent material - soft and yet warm and substantial; superb workmanship and quality; easy-to-dress design; BUT the sizing is way off. The medium, is what American sizing would call a large, and the amount of velcro available for adjustment is completely inadequate. If "medium" in American sizes fits your dog, it's going to be too big.
