5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and stylish!Reviewed by Shea The Viking from Seattle on Wednesday, December 9, 2015This jacket has so many great features, and I have received so many compliments on it! First off, it is long enough to cover your backside. It fits slimmer than other puffy jackets, so you don't feel like the stay puff marshmallow man, but is definitely very insulated. It is somewhat slim in the hips; if I were much bigger there it would be too tight. I'm about 37-38 inches in the hips, and I got a size small. There is enough room in the bust to move, but again, not so much that you feel giant. The sleeves have a built-in mitten with thumbhole and piece of fabric that can cover your fingers. I have long arms, so this feature feels a little short to me, but I still use it because it is awesome! The left sleeve has a large zippered pocket. I put my camera in this one, and it barely made a lump. There is a large pocket between the zip and the outer placket. This pocket has an inner hole for headphones. This is also a great place for your phone and money. On one upper chest area is a small button pocket that is perfect for lip balm.
On the inside is a powder skirt that can button around your hips when you want, and buttons to the body of the jacket when not in use. Great feature. There is also a large mesh pocket. The hood can detach from the jacket, and the faux fur trim can detach from the hood.
I wore this jacket in wet snow/rain mix and stayed dry. I also work it in sub-zero temps and remained quite warm. I wore just a thermal shirt under it while sledding in 15 degree temps, and was definitely warm enough. I don't know how it would do in extended rain, but what I have experienced with wet snow sitting on my shoulders is that inside was totally dry.
All in all, this is a great snow jacket and I would definitely recommend it.
