Royal Heritage Home Flannel Blanket - King, 9 oz. Cotton

Soft and pretty..using when comforters get too hot for me. Bought one for me, guest bedroom and son. Priced way below retail.

We bought this blanket for tent camping as a couple - a large cover to put over unzipped sleeping bags with enough blanket left over to tuck under - but me'thinks we'll be using it on our bed during hot summer months for when it cools down in the early morning hours, as well. It is a luxurious weight for flannel - reminds me of the flannel my grandparents used while living in a tent 90 years ago that we still use at the family cabin - and feels nicely-heavy enough to be cozy but light enough for easy folding and packing. The sage color is nice but appears to be a little darker on the web site than the actual blanket's, though that could be due to our computer monitor's settings. It washed with no discernible disintegration in quality; we don't have a dryer (but I would think I wouldn't want to use one for a blanket if I did). I'm sorry, I don't know if the size is true to "King" as we only have a queen-sized bed, but a hot dryer would most likely shrink the size.

Love the clean look on our king bed and I use it as a coverlet during the summer months in NC-great to take off the chill of A/C, soft and good looking. Great look, price and service!

ideal summer blanket and as extra layer in winter

After washing according to the directions, the king size blanket shrunk 10 inches - now it will only fit a double bed. I was very disappointed because otherwise I liked it.
