Closeouts. Skip the jacket when the temperature drops and slip on the ultrasoft Royal Robbins Arcada fleece shirt. Brushed on both sides, the face has a heathered look, with a zip neck and chest pocket for added versatility.

I've had a number of Royal Robbins shirts over the years, and they're some of the nicest/sturdy fabrics I've seen with excellent manufacturing. This fleece continues that tradition, and I'm well pleased.
A few things to note:
The big chest pocket interior is made of a thin mesh and extends ~12" all the way to the armpit. Contrast that to the Columbia fleece I'm wearing right now which is only 4 1/2" in depth (but made of the same fleece as the exterior). The mesh is well constructed and great for bigger things like maps, etc. If you've got something bulky with edges, you'll feel it more compared to a full fleece pocket interior.
I usually wear M or L jackets, and chose M for this as I want to use it as in interior fleece under shells. It fits right for me (even though I'm carrying a bit of gut); and as the picture shows, the arms have that just a bit of extra length that makes fleeces comfortable. But the body of this fleece is snug, no getting around it.. If you're in my size range and want to wear it loosely, outside of thick clothing, or if you're carrying a big gut, a M it might run a bit small for you.
As mentioned, Royal Robbins makes well-made clothing. I checked every single seam inside and out closely and they all look perfect.
I'm very pleased with this pullover fleece and would buy again.
