I ordered two pair, one in black and one in Khaki and they both fit well when I went up one size from my usual six to an eight. I liked them so well that I ordered another black and the waist was at least two inches larger than my first pair. Also, I wish the zippers on the pockets were in front rather than in back. Who wants to sit on their keys or credit cards.

I had to have them shortened a bit. Even still, they move every which way you do. I am an avid hiker/traveler, so I can't wait to get them on the trail or on the town after a long hike. Just love them!!!!

I ordered them in two different colors--charcoal and black--the charcoal was slightly smaller, the black just right, very comfortable. Maybe the difference isn't enough to warrant a different size marking, they both fit, it's just that the black are slightly more comfortable. The charcoal slightly less so, but not enough to send back.
