Very odd that I got a review request when I actually had the shirt on! The pattern of the shirt is very cool. Had many complements. My opinion is that the shirt will be very durable and will look great for a long time. Sizing might be a hair on the big side. I am usually between a L & XL because of my shoulders but the L is very roomy and the mid section isn't monstrous like some shirts. Nice!

I had gotten a Royal Robbins Spenser corduroy shirt and really liked the subtle, refined pattern. They are only available now in giant size. But I thought this shirt had a similar quality. It's nice but I'm still looking it over.
Some items are immediate winners. This is a swell shirt but I really don't go weak in the knees looking at it. Could there be a bit of buyer's remorse after a late night purchase? I do think, in objective terms, this is a good shirt but will
it give me the lithe and tawny look I imagined at
11:30 PM? Most people will call this a winner so five stars.

About Royal Robbins

By the late-1960s, veteran Yosemite rock climber Royal Robbins and his wife Liz had grown tired of wearing cutoff jeans on the crag. At the time, apparel designed specifically for outdoor adventure was virtually non-existent. After years of wishing for something better, the couple finally decided to create their own, starting with a pair of climbing shorts called the “Billy Goat.” This was the beginning of Royal Robbins’ clothing revolution. Today, nearly 50 years later, Royal Robbins outdoor clothing is as rugged and reliable as ever. When you buy a Royal Robbins sweater or shirt, or a Royal Robbins pair of pants or shorts, you can bet it will fit great, whether you’re climbing in the Sierra Nevadas, camping in the backcountry or relaxing in your own backyard.
