Royal Robbins Nox Denim Shorts - Lightweight (For Women)

The washed worn look, looks very bad. My 4 yr old asked if they were dirty when I was trying them on. Also do not feel true to size, would order a size up on these. Sent this one back!

I would have kept these, but the denim really does look "dirty" like the picture. They would be perfect if not for the the distressed treatment of the fabric. I don't mind a faded look, but these look like you've wiped soiled hands on the thighs.

These look good on-I will wear them a lot-as soon as the snow melts!

These seem like great shorts. I got them in a size 4 and they are perfect, except for the pockets in the back seem big, making for a somewhat loose look from the back, but otherwise, very comfy and cute.

I loved the Nox capris which had a 2 flap type pockets on the reat. The Nox shorts have traditional Jeans pockets. There is an odd little logo on the front pocket that doesn't show up on the photo.

Fit on these shorts is very nice. No gapping at the waist and not cut too low.

I would have used this short for 5.5 mile walks around Nisqually Wild Life refuge , but I DON'T LIKE THE CUT , THERE IS NO LOOSE to it , I CAN DO the low on the hip cut, but the style is not comfortable for me, perhaps if one was skinny or liked a tight pant then fine.I am sending it back.It is well made.

These shorts fit me well. I like the longer length. The wash is good looking and I love the Nox fabric, it's really great in the summer.

While the looks and construction of these shorts are great, the overall fit is strange. I'm tall and proportinate and while they fit great in the hips, they were too big in the waist. I even bought one size bigger (I'm normally about a size 6) following the advice of another online reviewer from Sierra Trading Post. I gave them to my younger sister, who normally wears a size 10 and they fit her perfect (size 8). So, perhaps they're tailored for a younger body.
