Reviewed by AHS from Boston on Thursday, May 09, 2013I ordered this for an upcoming hiking trip and it should work for that and even transition from hiking to dinner if time is short. It is very lightweight and should be great for packing. My surprise is that it is more fitted than the picture or the stated purpose would lead one to expect. I did order a size up so it is not tight but it is not as loose as I would have expected. I don't like clingy clothing in general and certainly not when exercising. The snaps are a bit tight so I this might be a pull over the head article unless they give over time.

For the game drives (vehicle safaris) the trip description said to stay with neutral colors preferably similar Khaki. White and bright colors startle the animals. From past purchases I know that Sierra Trading Post offers good value and exceptional prices. I found this shirt on my first search. It arrived quickly and with minimal packaging which is important to me. I've been wearing the shirt here in Tucson in the 90+ degrees weather. It is perfect. It is light weight, fits perfectly.I love that it has snaps and not buttons. After I washed it, it dried with no wrinkles. With black pants it even looks casual dressy.

Reviewed by freckles from NJ on Thursday, May 02, 2013A problem I have with sunblock fabrics is that they are often scratchy to my sensitive skin and unbearably hot. These shirts block the sun but their fabric is light and not oppressive, and they fit in a way that allows the breeze to ventilate me. I bought a periwinkle color shirt last year and have enjoyed it so much that I just bought another one in sage. Nylon is never the ideal fabric to wear next to your skin, but this shirt is quite nice anyway.

Answer It is not a stretchy shirt. The polyester is comfortable and will dry fast if you get wet.

Answer Barely any at all, it is a micro fine weave and weight and has plenty of movement if you don't have fat upper arms and you are less than a 34/36DD type bust.
