Filson makes the best gear. Love the vest as it has pockets for everything. Tin cloth material might as well be advertised as bulletproof. Well worth the money, even at a higher price.

Excellent fit. Works well over just a t-shirt or when wearing a heavy coat. The waist belt is great for distributing extra weight from the shoulder straps. Lots of large pockets. I was looking for the perfect vest and this is as close as it gets. The tin cloth is very oily at first but that is the only negative.

This vest is comfortable, particularly with it's integral waist-belt that is in addtion to the normal strap for closing. It's loaded with practical features - extra pockets, controller/radio pockets and has outstanding shoulder straps. A bargain at three times the price!
