Wide comfort range from chilly mornings through hot, sunny afternoons. Great for biking- commuting, running errands, etc. but the back waist could be a little higher.

They are super-stretchy and easily accommodate tights or long underwear underneath if it's cold. The zip pockets are sleek and keep loose items contained for hiking. They look a little tech-y for everyday wear (this would be less noticeable in black) but will be favorites for hiking and backpacking.
