Great jacket for cool, Fall rides By diyhunt from Colorado Springs, CO on 11/12/2009 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far I really like this jacket. I wore the jacket yesterday on a 26 mile ride. It was 48degs out and I stayed comfortable the entire time. This is a very versatile garment. The sleeves zip off and can be stuffed in the side pockets, or you can stuff the whole thing in the back pocket and strap it around your waists with the supplied belt. Can't go wrong with this one!
Great Jacket, great price By Henry from Columbus, OH on 10/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good for layering, Good Pockets and Features, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 6'2" 190 lbs and was worried about the sleeve length, they are just about 1" too short, but otherwise a great jacket. The wind-proof feature is nice but does decrease the breathe-ability of the jacket. Though I could use it without the sleeves. It's worked well below freezing temperatures with just an undershirt and long sleeve shirt underneath. I am a pretty sweaty person, so I never expect to be completely dry underneath. I've used it in light rain and it performed very well. I have yet to experience a good Ohio downpour. I imagine it won't protect against that, but I'm sure it will dry fast. Good quality for the price.
By Paul P. from York, PA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight, Windproof Cons: Durability questions Best Uses: Cool weather biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for light, packable wind shell to help keep me warm as the weather gets cooler. The removable sleeves were a must since I didn't want to have to buy a vest too. I've used the jacket for the last several weeks and it certainly meets my expectations. I normally ride wearing this shell over a long sleeve sweat wicking t-shirt and it has kept me toasty down to the 50's we've experienced so far. Once it gets colder will simply switch to a heavier baselayer. It is light and easily foldable into a very small size; that is why I bought it. Because of its lightness however, don't know how long it will hold up. Regardless, it's still a good value for the money.
