By Fisherman from CA on 06/30/2009 Cons: Difficult To Attach, Not Functional Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm convinced that there is a serious design problem with these fins. They are extremely stiff and don't have a lot of surface area -- consequently, they do not provide much propulsion, even with a lot of effort. Get the Caddis fins instead or, better yet, spring for some Force Fins.
angled fin promotes good upstroke power By Flam from Reno, NV on 06/10/2009 Pros: Angled fin, Easy To Attach, Reduces Fatigue, Rugged Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the angled fin serves two purposes: easier to walk on land and up stroke power in water.
By head1st from pollock pines, ca. on 10/05/2008 Cons: Fatigued, No thrust, Not Functional, Very heavy Describe Yourself: Competitive Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: these were reccomended by the manufacturer as a copy of the force fins. as I could not find the size I needed in the force fins, I bought these. Huge mistake. they provide no thust, very heavy, and have a lot of play when kicking. I spent a week in the sierras with these fins trying to keep up with my friends. If your looking for a workout, these fins are for you.
