By D.Fishman from Clarkston, WA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Tough Material Best Uses: Cold Water, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Two intense full seasons and still working perfectly. I fish the Grand Ronde through March with air temps in the teens and with a simple base layer I stay warm while my rod guides freeze. They are also tough, I caught my lower leg in a snag of barbed wire and thought my day was through, it wasn't. Not a rip or tear and no leakage. Lightweight and easy to move in.

Best waders for the money By That Guy from Ithaca, NY on 01/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Tough Material Cons: Too baggy, Too high on chest Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pair as an upgrade from the baseline Orivs Clearwater waders. After one season of fishing 4-5 times a week from April until mid-November in the Fingerlakes region of upstate NY they are still in great shape (read:lots of falls into rocky gorges). The gore-tex material looks lightweight and I was afraid I was going to tear them pretty quickly, but they have held up much better than my previous waders, which the seams gave out on after two years of use. The lightweight material also means that they are much more comfortable for long days on the water and they are cut big enough to allow for layering underneath. Another hugh upside to these waders is the gusseted crotch. They are designed to allow freedom of movement that a lot of other waders cannot match. It is nice to be able to actually take large steps or climb over boulders in my waders. The major downsides are that they sit very high on my chest (almost to my neck. I am 5'10" and got a Large), the gravel guards make slipping my legs in and out of them difficult especially in cold weather and the buckles on the wading belt and the suspenders are not very sturdy (I may have to replace them this coming season. All in all a very good wader however. I would favorably compare them to much more expensive waders.
