By Trenton Fly Fisher from Trenton, NJ on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Tough Material Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Cloudveil waders are beautifully designed. I worried about two things when I ordered them. First, would the lightweight design be tough enough to stand up to brambles that can shred breathable waders. While I don't have a definitive answer yet (I try to avoid brambles when I can), they do have a heavier material from the knee down that looks like it can hold up pretty well. Second, my foot is a large size 13, and often buy size 14 shoes. I worried that the 11-13 booties on the XLK would be too small. However, they fit perfectly.
The upper fabric is extremely breathable. I fished a wild trout stream which involved lots of scrambling over boulders and climbing up pool to pool. It was a warmish October day, yet I didn't feel sweaty or clammy at all. The gusseted crotch gives incredible freedom of movement. The gravel guard is well designed, long enough, and flexible. It stayed securely attached to my boot laces all day.
Frankly, it almost seemed like I wasn't wearing waders at all.
The waders do seem substantially lighter than any other pair I've ever owned. Since I'm often hopping an airplane when I need chest waders (locally it's wet wading or waist highs), I appreciate this feature.
Of course, the acid test of any pair of waders is how long they hold up. I don't know this yet, though the waders certainly LOOK like they're well made.

Very good quality at a very good price.
