Beautifully made...and entertaining! By Waders full of water from Portland, Oregon on 06/07/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy Casting, Reliable, Smooth Drag System, Smooth Reeling Cons: None of those problems Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I understand Wright and McGill are closing out these reels because Serious Fishermen didn't like the salmon-shaped holes around the periphery. Folks, many days that will be the only fish you see. With the brightly-colored line behind it, you have kind of a little video show as the reel turns!
But more importantly, it is a beautifully made and durable reel for about half what it might otherwise cost. I love it.
